We are being linked with a move for Max Kruse who is a forward from Werder Bremen.

He plays as a #10 and is good at build up play yet has an eye for goal - would be an interesting signing if true.

We'd been interested in N'Zonzi before he went to Sevilla so I can confidently say we've had our eye on him since 2015.

So Shakey comes out and says we're aiming for Europe then but you reckon we'll be lucky to finish above Everton and Southampton?

Well if you want to underestimate us how about you put some money on it? Show me how confident you are with the figure you feel comfortable bet to and I'll match it because I'm well confident.

You bet on them to finish above us so we're to finish 9th at the highest and I'll bet we finish top six, above both.
You do know all managers "come out and say" they are aiming for Europe?
What kind of manager would say anything less

That he had a lot of work to do and looked good doing it is an indication of his quality - he wasn't on the shortlist for nothing when the rumours were at their peak about Kasper moving.

The real pressure will come from justifying the fee and having the pressure to succeed rather then not fail too much like at Sunderland. I also expect the tabloids to be their usual prick selves and try to bring him down like every other young English talent and then complaining about them being brought down as well.

Also how will Keane be playing in a team that is more open? He's used to backs to the wall and he's going to be a lot more exposed at Everton.

I really don't rate them at all and I don't see why people do. Which players do they have who would get into our first XI? You could say Keane and possibly Coleman too but that's literally about it. I wouldn't even have had Lukaku ahead of Vardy.

Pickford, Keane, Klaassen, Rooney and Sandro and not inspiring signings and not worth the best part of £90m. I'd be well pissed off if these were our signings, instead of being really happy with Maguire, Iborra and Ilheanacho who are by far the better signings.

No they don't at all, you're talking bullshit! No way will Pellegrini come out and say they're aiming for Europe, nor will De Boer, Hughes, Bilic, Pulis, Howe, Silva etc etc etc because they're not. They're aiming for top 10 and will be happy with it, we won't.

So you reckon they are realist then and Shaky is a bit deluded?

So basically Everton have to win the EL next season because it's the last time they'll qualify for Europe so let's see how they do. My money is on them not winning it and not winning anything.
How many seasons have you had in Europe recently, how many times have you finished above Everton?

No not in the slightest. When played to our strengths we pick up 2+ points a game and that's just the reality as proven during the great escape, the title winning season and after Ranieri was sacked and Shakey picked up 22 points in 10 games which was one more than Ranieri managed in 25. I just know how good we are and you underestimate us.

The reality is you had to make the great escape which you did (thanks to CR) and then had a fairytale season and won the league. Then you went back to the norm and will do well to stay upper lower table for the next few seasons.

Yeah when are Southampton extending their stadium again? I've not heard about the need for a bigger stadium at St Mary's, do you have a link?
What does the stadium (or changing rooms) have to do with position in the league?
You can build 2 new stadiums and a Gold Plated dressing room, it won't help the team.
