He has played more for Mali then his club which is troubling though.On loan but with a 'redemption' clause .. i.e we have an option to buty at the end of the loan. Can't ask for more than that. According to reports he was very impressive for Mali in the ACON.
Is more like we get fixated on one player and don't have a plan B - in the summer it was Keane, now it was Acerbi.That in a nutshell sums up the concerning thing. Off the back of the best season in our history, when we should be able to attract players of calibre and truly strengthening we are scraping around for loans on the final day of the window. I know the January window is difficult and clubs are reluctant to sell and prices get inflated but this one has been particularly frustrating.
