time we cut most of this shyte of loans. why are we one of the only clubs that can't sell players outright?
I know times are hard for some clubs but if they don't have the cash wave them goodbye.
If Willy does go which looks likely his stock is good enough to be sold outright not a poxy loan to buy or loan.

I think the issue is that nobody will pay a transfer fee for **** like Wober and Harrison. I think we had to get as little as £3 million for Wober last summer to break even. Anything less than that would have impacted last summers budget. Nobody would pay even £3 million. That leaves the option of keeping him here with the squad (£35-40k a week, £2 million a year) or sending him out on loan and getting someone else to pay his wages and at least save some money.
Ramazani cost around £10 million. Nobody was going to give us this money for him after he barely played last season. Leeds didnt want him so off he went on loan again.
The good news is that Hull have told Gelhardt that they want to sign him regardless of what happened in the play offs. Now they have gone up, the transfer embargo will end and we can hopefully make them pay a premium for him.
…. Of course now they’re actually in the prem they may reconsider if Joffy is up to it.
There are plenty of Leeds fans who think ramazzani is the second coming. So hopefully someone in football recruitment agrees with them.

I don’t know how the sell on business works, but if it’s a percentage of the final sale price/profit (only), maybe loaning em out has value if that brings in a fee that is excluded from the calculations.

The board are aware that some players aren't up to standard to push Leeds United up and in to Europe where Red Bull and the 49ers wants the club. They need to go and better players brought in. This summer is not a window for sentiment because they got us promoted or we saw them ordering a pint in a local pub and took a photo with us.

Think it depends on if we sign a new keeper and Darlow or Perri being number 2 Darlow probably wants a 2-3 year contract which is risky
Lukas Hornicek seems to be the rumoured preference as next seasons goalkeeper. 23 years old. Plays for Braga in Portugal.
Don't know much about him to be honest but a brief Google suggests he is highly rated and might be already beyond our reach. We can certainly afford him but I think the top sides in Europe might come calling.

Apparently Summerville is wanted by the top level at Leeds but Farke is undecided. Roma also want him but West Ham would prefer to sell him back due to some inserted clauses we had when he initially left
Summerville doesn't make sense as we don't play with wingers. If we revert to 4 at the back we are in trouble next season.
My main concern is that we undo all the good work this last 12 months and try and tippy tappy our way through next season.

Said it before, Summerville was clearly hurt with the reception he received when he played at ER for West Ham and even spoke about it later saying he didn't understand why and it annoyed him because it was uncalled for, if there's other offers on the table which im sure there will be, he ain't going to want to come back.
Backwards move. Personally I don’t want to sign any ex-players, never been a fan of it.

Example 1. Leeds want Summerville back. Well, we didn't play with wingers last season so why would we sign a winger for a substantial lump of our kitty. Doesn't make sense and therefore it's a signing we should not pursue. If we were going to play with wingers next season then its not the worst signing on paper. Strong rumours that he could be problematic in the changing room in his younger days too. Its one to stay away from.
Example 2. Archie Gray. If Spurs were relegated and we could have got him back for less than they paid (£30 million) then I would be all for it. Good squad player with potential to become an England regular if he continues to improve. Solid character and good to have around. Can cover right back, centre half and also looks a good central midfielder at this level with some of his performances last season. IF Spurs had gone down and needed cash and we could get him relatively cheaply then it would be a solid addition.
