Right wing back option would be Oscar Mingueza from Celta Vigo. 27. 6ft. Quick. Very good passer of a ball. Free transfer. A very attacking right wing back who can also play further forward on either flank.

Yeh esteve was great in the championship last year - found it harder this year but not surprising given the circumstances.
Esteve still only 23. Left footer so could replace Struijk when he is inevitably injured. Big lad too so would fit in well. Think he would be a more solid option than Bornauw with more potential to displace a regular in the long term. He prolly wouldn't have to move house either.

I’d keep Bornauw but if we get rid I think we need 2 CBs & if we get rid of Struijk too then we’ll need another. Basically if we’re playing 3 at the back we need 5 CBs imo

I'd prefer to sell Bornauw and replace with a younger promising centre half and keep Struijk. James Justin can play as part of a back 3 if we have two centre halves out.

I think we need a left back to push Gabi.

Francis Onyeka from Leverkusen is another who might get a decent move. Brighton are interested in the 19 year old playmaker. 6ft 2' and scored 8 goals in bundesliga 2 this season whilst out on loan. Looks a talented player.

All these names I'm throwing out there are not links. They are players who i think would fit really well and I think we could get.

There's a few REALLY good signings to be made out there but I think 'better placed' clubs would be huge favourites to get them in front of us.

I did suggest he might be a good addition earlier in this thread. I’d be happy with that, he’d want to prove both Villa and Liverpool that they’ve made a mistake.

History suggests that he'd be more likely to prove them right. He's certainly a talent but there's a theory he doesn't have PL physicality/legs. Appreciate villa/pool are 2 talent laden squads so it doesn't automatically follow that he isn't good enough for this level. My gut is there's often an underlying reason for limited game time. I've never gotten over Lee Sharpe <laugh>

Hey we took some punts last year and most came off. Not saying it can't happen.

Elliott - I’d avoid, it’s like James Mcatee, we were linked with him last season then he joined Forest for £30m and they’d be lucky to get half that back

Top clubs rarely get it wrong with the 20 something year old English players, they know when to cash in

I would have taken McAtee last summer if his price wasn't so high. For a CAM who's not really established, I think £15 million is a more reasonable price

Kamada, Stones, Robertson and Sancho wouldn't be bad additions, and I think we could realistically get them, TBH. Granted, they're pretty. old

Caveat... Robertson has agreed to go to Spurs IF they don't get relegated

You'd be willing to break the wage structure for those players?
