Unfair comparison IMO. Mason was the victim of a very, very unfortunate 'accident', no fault of the club or loss of form on the players part and I thought we recouped some of the money through insurance?Ryan Mason was at least equally catastrophic.

Leeds could well be back in the Championship next season and need Gelhardt back themselves.I think the Gelhardt move makes some sense for Leeds long-term as well as the player. If he has another stand-out loan spell in the Championship he’ll be worth more than he is now and he’ll probably catch the eye of teams better than he currently is, such as a Premier League side.
He’s ****ed us about all summer. The club have decided to keep going higher and higher with the contract offer and I think it’s a huge mistake. The club should’ve moved on weeks ago instead of pandering to him and his agent. I understand players and agents look out for their own interests and try to get the best deal but I think we’ve had our pants pulled down here. I don’t like it, especially after everything that has gone on this summer.
Hopefully we have learnt from Last season's injuries and need back-up in every position for injuries,Why on earth would we loan Kamara to Portsmouth?
He's our first choice right winger.
Gelhardt on his way back.
Can we operate under an embargo every window? Probably the best transfer window under Acun.
Gelhardt returning would be superb!

They'll almost certainly be back down along with the other 2 that went up with them...Competing up there is fast becoming an impossibility.Leeds could well be back in the Championship next season and need Gelhardt back themselves.
interested to see what happens with Brentford and Bournemouth this season, both losing a few players, Brentford manager too.....for the good of football one of the promoted teams needs to stay upThey'll almost certainly be back down along with the other 2 that went up with them...Competing up there is fast becoming an impossibility.
As an aside,I'd welcome Gelhardt back for the season,I was disappointed to see him going back the last one.For a loanee,he put some of our permanents to shame with his attitude, drive and energy.
Good player, look forward to seeing him.
i think Brentford to go down at 4/1 is a good value bet...interested to see what happens with Brentford and Bournemouth this season, both losing a few players, Brentford manager too.....for the good of football one of the promoted teams needs to stay up
to be fair....I'd said the same about Brighton a couple of times when potter then DZ left along with a few players! Odds stacked against the 3 promoted teams but I have been pondering a flutter on that same beti think Brentford to go down at 4/1 is a good value bet...

Bang on. He gets a lot of stick on here and I do understand why. He's very laid back and that seems to wind some fans up a bit. But he also contributes quite a bit and will improve by playing alongside the players we have signed. I have my fingers crossed that he stays. That way Belloumi and Millar can be eased in. Can't wait to get this season goingWhy on earth would we loan Kamara to Portsmouth?
