I don’t think Stuart fit Brentford’s Land of the Giants themed squad.I think Chris Wilder said Sheffield United wanted to get a deal done to bring him in but in the end it just didn't end in an agreement. He obviously trialled with Brentford too but they chose not to offer anything. Maybe he decided if it wasn't red and white stripes then he wouldn't be staying in the UK

They’ve had months to make a real offer. We obviously think he’ll have another goal scoring run like last season and someone else with buy him for more than what they were offering. Probably not close to what we were asking as his contract ticks down but more than their stupid time wasting bids

Awaiting the furious reaction from people assuming this is us being bitten by the multi club model. I don’t see it this way. We are avoiding having to sell at what we consider below market rate
Selling for what they offered will actually negatively impact PSR anyway as I’m pretty sure it would show as an accounting loss (as well as it just being a headline loss anyway)
He will only have one year left after this season so doubt he value will go up at all.
