Talks about Saints at 13:08 - says he hopes to travel back in the winter when MLS season is done and visit Staplewood and attend a game
Well, I've never taken any real interest in MLS before ... but now I'm going to have to be a bit of a Whitecaps fan Good Presser with Stu, they've got them selves a great footballer and a great character "in the locker room" Pleases his gone there in the MLS, not a US team and in a city and State I've visited a few times and like a lot Go White Caps!
Ahh, didn’t see that. Oh well. I like him, great at beating his man but the club would have made a considered decision I’m sure.
Great at beating his man and then doing **** all with it! He's had plenty of chances - he's just not good enough for the PL. I wish him well, but right time to move him on.
Anderlecht haven’t spent more than €5m on a player for something like 4 years at least. So either the buy option is low or it’s in there for appearances sake and they will not really be able to afford to meet it
Now being reported that there is no buy option (edit - just seen Toms post). Even without a buy option, if he does well then it'll make it much easier to sell him for decent money next season.
They’ve had months to make a real offer. We obviously think he’ll have another goal scoring run like last season and someone else with buy him for more than what they were offering. Probably not close to what we were asking as his contract ticks down but more than their stupid time wasting bids Or this might flush them out ? That said - team behind him will be weaker so he might not do as well Awaiting the furious reaction from people assuming this is us being bitten by the multi club model. I don’t see it this way. We are avoiding having to sell at what we consider below market rate Selling for what they offered will actually negatively impact PSR anyway as I’m pretty sure it would show as an accounting loss (as well as it just being a headline loss anyway)
