Some googling suggests that Barca have pulled out. But that he’s not going to be short of suitors from high profile clubs including some with European football. Seems like an optimistic punt from us
Well Rodriguez is different as he is out of contract and they don’t have the same rules in Spain about domestic signings 1 month before contract ends I believe. I’m sure I read he had agreed to join Barca on a free a couple of months ago, maybe it wasn’t a 100% done deal
A West Ham fan page (yeah I know) suggested Ipswich have given Johnson a 60k p/w contract. If true that is higher than pretty much everyone in our squad and 5x or more higher than most of their squad. Surely that can’t be the case. And if it is could ruffle some feathers. Which is why I expect it to be nonsensehttps://www.fcbarcelonanoticias.com...lly-makes-him-free-player_305054_102_amp.html
A nice poorly translated article here claims that he signed a pre contract with Barca, but new manager Hans Flick cancelled the contract, leaving Guido with no direction.
the interview quoted with Rodriguez also intimates he doesn’t want to stay in La Liga.
Sounds like he might be too good for us, but we can offer a good wage and a guaranteed start.
I expect to see him at Portman Road in the next few days
Atalanta have sent a offer in for Matt O'Riley, that ends that transfer.
Would they offer more money? That's what he wanted. (the likes of Koopmeiners and Lookman are on 40k p/w)
Seems to be heading to Mexico.
Not if we are offering 70k and they are offering 40k. Money talksThey are the European champions, And will be playing in the champions league, He'll surely reject us if Atalanta bid is serious.
Not if we are offering 70k and they are offering 40k. Money talks
If the rumoured fees are true then then would need to at least equal their record if not smash it. €20m seems to be their comfort zone. With €29m as their record

Seem to remember you lot saying he was pretty ****, other than a few worldies he scored.
Not very excited by this
He's a decent option off the bench, good eye for goal and a different profile to what you have in midfield.
Probably minimal fee - not exciting bit sometimes you don't need exciting, you need depth.
I think it was his goal against the dog botherers that made people stand up and take notice but isn't he a bit lazy, definitely more attacking than the 3 we have, that's for sure
As a loan its good business. He won't set the world on fire but would start for most sides and will be a good squad option for you lot.Seem to remember you lot saying he was pretty ****, other than a few worldies he scored.
