Saw on Facebook, someone calling himself Newcastle Insider claiming that the Toon have signed one of our academy boys, but no name given.
Hoping that it isn’t Gomez Rodriguez, especially as there was something in the media recently about us making him a final offer for signing/staying with us.

If that is the same thing I saw on Facebook it had a link to an article from 2022.

I see Sessegnon has been released by Spurs. I would quite like Saints to take a punt on him.

His injury history is brutal. It's so difficult for players to come back from multiple major hamstring injuries, particularly when you're reliant on pace. I really liked Sessegnon at Fulham, so it's really sad but he's probably one more bad muscle injury from the end of his career, and he's only 24.

If he could stay fit, he's be an excellent signing - especially as a left wing back in a 3-5-2 type system.

But he seemingly can't stay fit, poor guy.

Was asking someone I work with who is a Cov fan and he said O’Hare is good but doubts he could make the step up to the PL. Said PL teams should be looking at Sheaf, Sakamoto or Van Ewijk for Cov’s best players

Not against O’Hare as I don’t know much about him and on a free could be a good option.

Don’t like that tweet about strikers at all, makes it sound like if Adams resigns we won’t be after anyone else

In a strange way Forest's financial issues may mean they are willing to offer bigger wages.

Saints & Wolves have money to spend elsewhere and won't pay Che more than what we think are fair wages. Forest however probably can't sign a striker of Che's level unless it is a free.

They reckon they’re selling Murillo for massive money (50m+) so they think they’ll be fine for FFP
