I think fee would be an issue if we didn’t go up. You very rarely see Champ teams spending £15m on a player. Wasn’t Charles the largest signing at £10m in the whole league last season? And that was by a team who had just come down and sold something like £150m+ worth of players

Leeds paid 14m for Piroe. I think we would pay 15m, since we'll be selling quite a few players, and we already know Downes' quality.
