Could it be any worse? And to top it off it is now the gift that keeps on giving because it is impacting our ability to spend.

Fully expect one or two duds in that price range but for the whole lot to have failed (bar Bree i suppose) is incredible

The summer before wasn't much better tbh. And we'd barely cleared out the previous load of deadwood that was holding us back (Hoedt, Gunn, Lemina, Vestergaard etc)

Bree as a player has contributed less than Alcaraz & Sulemana in a Southampton shirt.

I know the talk is of value for money, but I don’t think that suddenly makes him a good signing, we could have had an academy player fill his role and save on the wages.

I am fully resigned to the fact we’re not signing anyone else this window except our two loans.

That wouldn't make sense waiting as it's not like they'd be able to play anyway.
 
For those that think our summer is going bad, Leeds have lost Archie Gray, Summerville and Brighton have just triggered Rutters 40Million release clause.

Tbh they're selling players they managed to hold on to last season. I think once their dreams of a quick return, were so beautifully extinguished at Wembley, these players were to be sold off, and Leeds would emerge for new season as a more championship looking outfit.

That is very much not what the Leeds fans thought. Especially when the got Rodon back. Some thought Gray going might be the only out. And we’re still furious because it’s his hometown club and his dad played for them. As if that matters when a big money premier league bid comes in. And then some accepted Summerville

But seeing some of their “next season line ups” and the discussions was a bit wild.
 
Paying 40mill for Rutter would be total insanity. Utter madness. He’s sub 20 mil at best. headless chook.
 
I have read elsewhere that it’s a possibility that KWP still goes to West Ham with JWP coming the other way………personally don’t think it will happen as they have just signed AWB?
