Back to the thread title, just been perusing the list of players now free agents from PL clubs (including the 3 relegated sides). Another WoL list. Can't say there are (m)any in there that would help us. Either we couldn't afford their salaries, they are not what we want or too old. Interestingly. Bobby Reid is free. Oli McBurnie anyone? https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/167-talented-free-agents-cardiff-29303753
Anyone in that list of interest to you Sparky. I first thought Jack Cork, but then saw he's 34. It's younger legs we need.
I hadn't actually looked at the list before I posted - the mere mention of McTurdie made me vomit. I'll have a look now.
I just put swede in my homemade soup too. Nobody on that list that excited me. I hope we have people at the Euros looking out for possibilities.
Ryan Sessegnon would be an interesting one. Injury prone though and probably out of our price bracket. Would give us options on the left though.
There again, I haven't heard of most of them. Those I have heard of will be either too old or too burdensome on the wage bill.
TBH, not many I recognise in that lot, though if we're looking to build for the future, Brandon Williams would be a good shout.
Very injury prone. As much a sicknote as Darren Anderton was. As for Twatty McTwatface. He can go and f@uck a little pig.

I just started a new thread on that BB. Great minds think alike. I don't see any real surprises. Of the youngsters leaving none had come forward like Conte, Joel Colwill and Ashford.
Crole and Zimba seemed to get good write-ups. Don't suppose you can keep too many though. It's a pyramid and every time you go up, some squeeze out of the sides. Another load of 7 year olds being squeezed into the base of the pyramid again this year. We just need to get a few making it to the top.
I always feel concerned when the younger players are released, especially those perceived to have promise. It must be a worrying time for them and their families, having worked so hard to get where they have. I hope they all find clubs where they can make progress. Once a Bluebird, always a Bluebird.
