Little known FACT, Charles Dickens was a time travelling City fan and based a book on the Allams time with us, with particular emphasis on the first few lines.
"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair". :emoticon-0138-think

Another true and even lesser known FACT about Charlie Dickens when he visited Hull was he bought several pairs of silk stockings for his mistress from a shop down Whitefriargate ( Don't think it was ye Olde Annie Summers shop either ) This was disclosed when the shop assistant told the local newspaper at the time. The assistant was handed two free tickets for his show, obviously to keep quiet, but he still blabbed. No-one knew Dickens had a mistress who, allegedly, travelled the country with him on his ' A Night with Dickens' tour. The news sent shock waves all around the country. Dickens, in fact was rather fond of the ladies of the night and actually lived in a seperate house to his wife and seven kids in London at weekends, often stretching into most of the following week too. A tale of Two (Hull) Cities.

Was the mistress from the Orchard?

Is there any information about wages of new transfers btw? We keep mentioning that we reduced wage bill by sending Seri, Tufan but are newcomers really cheap on salary compared to them?

You can bring Zaha for less than 10M just for wages. Galatasaray is already willing to let him go free.
