Interesting that Baz never mentioned Cooper in his 6 signings they wanted in his big update.

Suggestion of us pushing for a winger on loan maybe means the want for an extra keeper is on the back burner?
feel for him though, having to move up there <yikes>
also which dundee?

I’ll double check which Dundee it is. Dundee FC are you usually referred to as Dundee so it’s possibly him but us English fans and media get it wrong often.

Both Dundees are decent. I watched the Dundee Derby and it was a good standard. I’ve not seen much of Sellars-Fleming and I’m just concerned it might be a loan too soon and he might not get much game time. I’ve only seen him once or twice in short cameos. What type of player is he?

Bit of a poacher. Off the shoulder type, definitely needs to work on his overall game

I don’t get this ‘we need experience’ waffle. I’m of Walter’s opinion that if you’re good enough, you’re old enough. You don’t need to shoehorn players in their thirties with dodgy knees to achieve some mystical state of ‘having experience’. Sunderland are currently top of the league with three wins out of three, scoring seven and not a single goal conceded. Their oldest player in the starting XI today was 29-year-old Luke O’Nien.

Jones, Coyle, Giles, Slater and Millar are experienced at this level. Mehlem and Ömür have hundreds of appearances each in other leagues. The only thing Cooper has experience of is being a mediocre footballer and spending time with the medical staff for prolonged periods.

Cooper is poor on the ball, slow and his best days (as average as they were) behind him. He became a liability for Leeds and his body is falling apart. Currently he is worse than all the centre backs we have. Also, a Leeds fan from Hull - so a proper ****. He will be instantly disliked by most fans - an easy boo boy.

Can’t understand this signing one bit.

Why do we need a championship experienced defender when acun didn’t believe we needed a manager/head coach with championship experience.
It’s strange as we don’t need him but if/when he signs, how does that leave fin burns. Especially if the other 2 midfielders arrive Seems to be a waste of a loan
