I’ve seen Óscar a fair bit and I’ve seen Bedia a couple of times in full matches and the eye-test alone tells me Bedia is a better player. Better touch, makes more intelligent runs, can hold the ball up and lay it off to his teammates better, quicker, stronger, better dribbler and presser. He’s a decent finisher but can be a bit wasteful at times. And he’s all left-foot.

Was just having a nice chat to krystyna on how her holiday in her home town in Poland was going. Had her on speakerphone and was just flicking through the hull city news now site for transfer updates and this came up. Honestly couldn’t stop laughing, don’t half miss that lady…. Cross bar challenge, how the mind can boggle at just a Cpl of words….lol

Just seen Bedia’s interview on Tigers+. His English isn’t great, bless him, but it’s still miles better than my French. With Seri going, we don’t have many French-speakers in the squad now. I think Lo-Tutala is the only one. Must be difficult going into a dressing room and not being a confident speaker of the dominant language.

He’s spent most of his career playing for clubs in French-speaking cities/towns with Union Berlin and Zulte-Waregem being the exceptions.

Yeh cant be easy. I was thinking similarly about Zambrano the other day, I'm presuming he doesn't speak English as there was no interview at all. At least he will hopefully have Puerta and Oscar for now but my money is on him going this week.

The good thing is, the manager is German, so probably speaks more languages than most English people!
No worries, chill!

Why are people still so obsessed by a quote from early in the summer that clearly didn't eventuate?
If it does then great but the amount of people mocking it or still expecting it is pretty tiresome.
So Syd it clearly didn’t eventuate and if it happens great…..which way you going. I know I’m opening myself up here for a debate but you’ve sort of contradicted yourself.

I'm saying it hasn't eventuated. If it's somehow still coming then great but seems pretty clear it's not! You're the one saying it's still a chance because the windows still open..
