That being said this kid is impressive as a ball playing keeper based on stats alone

He does look very comfortable on the ball and playing out from the back. He started off last season as the #1 for Young Boys in the league and played five out of the six Champions League group games as well as both of the previous qualifier legs. He got benched around December and von Ballmoos became the #1 in almost all the remaining league games. I can’t remember what prompted him to get dropped.

Did someone chip him from 40 yards? (meters if you prefer)

I think he’s a really good keeper. Makes himself big and has quick reflexes to save shots at short distances. If there’s one flaw it’s that he often rushes off his line a bit too early if the opposition are through on goal and sometimes just sticks a leg out which may lead to penalties and possibly a sending off if he’s the last man and it’s outside the box. There’s a ‘double jeopardy’ rule in football now regarding last man fouls. If it’s in the box and a penalty it’s only a yellow card, unless it’s dangerous or violent conduct. It’s only a red if it’s outside the box and a free kick.

Acun mentioned 5 players close to signing, with 4 permanent and 1 loan. Then listed 6 positions

GK: Racioppi
CB: Burns (loan)
6: Zambrano
Another 6: No idea
ST: Conway?
Another young ST: No idea

Suppose he could be classing Burns as the additional 6 and Hughes as the CB

Said after that we’ll use our additional 4 loan spots. Although not sure how that works if Zambrano is loan to buy.

Looks like any wingers signed will be on loan, which probably means we’re short for a few weeks. I was hoping we’re still after Millar

Bolton have got a great signing in Scotty Arfield, still does a good job.

Another guy Rangers don’t seem to want is Ianis Hagi, great wee player, not the fastest, but good skill, scores, good crosser of the ball and gets stuck in. Certainly could do a job for City.

Mate it took so long to load the page (with three auto refreshes) that the reader option didn’t even come up.
Bit late on this one, but maybe change your browser to one with better options. Mine looks okay., with adblocking and things like social media removal/anti-tracking. Doesn't stop the content being **** though.

Almost correct. If there’s no genuine attempt to play the ball and it’s cynical, a red will be shown regardless of it being dangerous or not.

Scott Wright would probably do a job for us as well.

I have all of that, it’s just when I don’t open it through Safari it goes a bit mental.

I bet our pursuit of Conway has led to a dozen Champ clubs being put on alert to his possible availability. Plus a rush for Russ Conway LPs from Sydney Scarborough under the City Hall, Hull. Every cloud, eh.
His name has been out there all summer, Middlesbrough have been chasing him and reckon they’ve got him in the bag. The longer it goes on, the more optimistic I get (they clearly aren’t going to sell him to us before Saturday). Time will tell !

Middlesbrough could buy him then swap for Giles.

Aah, Safari isn't using it properly then I guess. Can't say I'm surprised based on using my daughters Apple products. It's total garbage. I currently use a Firefox build with uBlock origin and lots of privacy stuff.
