This stuff just doesn't go away. How many managers in a row now has this been a talking point. Makes me all the more certain that as soon as we have a few games of struggling to score no one will care about how sexy his style was at Hamburg or anything else. It'll be the usual complaints of no plan B, too much backwards passing and so on. And if he dares to say that we actually played well or had a lot of box entries or something he'll be called arrogant and stubborn...

The average football fan genuinely won’t see how many tactical changes happen in a game sometimes. Eddie Howe literally said they made adjustments after 10 mins playing us yet in reality they didn’t change much about their shape or formation just some tweaks.

McCann and Rosenior got constantly knocked for having no plan B when in reality this is what happens every game. Set out a game plan. Stick to it but make small tweaks to adjust for anyone performing
