He just needs to play again. In the last 2 years, he's had about 1800 minutes combined. Considering he had 4000 minutes in his last season with us and 3000 the year before, it's no surprise he's stagnating.
It's the downside of moving to the PL too early, clearly financially it was a great deal for us and him though.

He had a decent back end of the season for them, which must have showed his potential to the Bees faithful for the coming season, and lessoned any doubts. Can't see them letting go, especially if they have a injury crisis. Though they kick off one week later than us.
PS...Cantwell, is a bargain bin James Maddison.
