Yeah he's a chancer... he's Brought it apparently the best keeper in the division, 2 midfielders the South American people are raving about as potential high 8 figure players, he's Brought in a winger the Portuguese people are saying is a gem, and another some are creaming over, he's brought in a CB who ultimately MAY be an upgrade long term on JG, he's entered the permanent market rather than relying on loans... im guessing they tried every avenue within the budget to bring a striker/ the striker they wanted in, but had to settle for someone with a scoring record in another league.... he's a crap owner for trying to make this a stable set up.
He’s made it an unstable set up
No one else

So no DM, and no Striker. Yet another no 10 and a pair of wingers with apparent potential but limited track record.

How many who ****ed us off elsewhere wouldn't have done with a stable, progressive, credible coach still in charge?

How many of those whinging about Rosenior will genuinely see a positive change this year ?

Its clearly gonna be a work in progress for the foreseeable.

Good luck to Walter. He surely can't be happy. He's been foisted with young guns but has his structural targets binned off.

Can't help thinking such a root and branch reset has been a challenge way too far in a single window.

Hopefully the ownership acknowledges quickly where its made mistakes. That comes from professionalism as opposed to populism at the very top.

If signing Cooper was right for the group, then sign the c*nt and be damned if necessary..

Don't backtrack "cos of some halfwits on social media - unless you've just signed him for the homecoming entirely for us ****wits on social media.

Though I fear in trying to do too much too soon - they've shat on their own doorstep.

Acun's honeymoon is probably now over unless miracles happen from here.

Gonna need more than just a messianic feel-good factor to keep the MKM full.

Present for you...

So we’re a little light up top and lacking some steel in the middle but we have depth and options now. And a majority are our players, who “should” make a good profit in the future. We’ve lacked that for a long time!
If the team clicks, they will be devastating, if they don’t, who knows???
I guess we’ll only know if this window was a true success if we start seeing performances, and more importantly, points on the board.
I’m quite looking forward to the journey…

We’ve faltered in the last few windows we’ve supposedly ‘won’. While we missed out on a striker and Meffert we’ve largely done okay. Plugged most of the holes, mostly with young permanent signings.

The club should be criticised for not sorting a striker but it’s been a fairly solid rebuild.

‘Winning’ the window hasn’t always meant success but hopefully a solid window does…

Wake up and smell the coffee.

Massive bonus for me. All we did was bring players in yesterday. Nobody went out. The depth is definitely there.
Agree.
Nice to finally have some real options from the bench in pretty much every position (assuming we have at least reasonable luck with injuries & suspensions until January). Well, we have from after the window onwards at least; pity it's not from today!

That's a 7.8 out of 10 window for me.....Karama incoming has taken it to a new height...It pleases me that our nemesis Narwych and their deluded country bumkin fans will be giving us far more respect. Now the boys need to gel pdq and take the league by storm....

Hell of a squad turnover in one window. If we are mid table come Jan I will be delighted. Positive is that we are now signing players on permanent deals. See what January brings but I suspect we are more likely to be serious contenders in 25/26 than this season.

We've a lot youngsters with, allegedly, a lot of potential. If the "gel" it could be an enjoyable season. If they don't, well, who knows. At least Acun would be able to do a proper rebuild with no constraints in League 1, although knowing our luck Birmingham will have forced them into doing something by then.

I'm not entirely sure we have learned any lessons from last season. We've signed less permanents than we've let go (and that were in and around the Squad last season)

Whatever had happened this window, some on here would still have been whinging.

Some people just don’t like change however big or small, whether it’s in their personal or work life.

Life in the Championship is all about change particularly if you don’t have the financial cushion of parachute payments.

How many teams have kept their Manager for more than a season and a half?

How many teams do not utilise their loan spots and have to give back their Premier League talent at the end of each season?

How many teams can hang on to all their best players if they fail to get promotion?

Yes some of our change wasn’t necessarily forced on us and were at the owners discretion but he wants Premier League, and didn’t see it happening under Rosenior.

I think we’ve ended the transfer window with a team of lots of potential. It’s now on Walter to deliver on that potential and succeed where Rosenior failed.

Like I’ve said before, as long as we still in touching distance come January, we have the opportunity to strengthen again and we have a kind run in.
