That would be interesting, I think they were expecting him to be pushing for first team action but when you look at what they’ve already got, it’s not a major slight that he’s available for loan.

Winger, can play both but mainly right side.

Doak seems like a panic loan to me. Acknowledging we probably won't sign Kamara or Inoussa so wanting to quickly get a winger in before 11pm deadline tomorrow. Might be harsh to say it. But, I have.
I mentioned him earlier in the window, he looks bright and lively in pre season for Liverpool.
He's a player who was available permanently though (it's been widely reported) so hopefully there's an option in there.
If it was a panic loan it probably would have been done at the death. Not the day before
Doak is a quality player but only 18. I don’t think it’s a panic signing but will mean it’s one of Inoussa/Kamara not both - probably saving cash for the striker

It probably is, he's only 18, so he's very young. I thought the window would end up like this. Say you'll spend money on X, Y & Z and end up with more loans.
I dont get your logic. We have no idea how long this has been in the pipeline for the club. He's been highly rated and a few clubs have been sniffing. Saying "unwanted Liverpool youngster" like we're shopping in the bargain bin is silly. I doubt its a case of "oh well we didn't get Kamara. Tan pick up the phone to the scousers and see what offcuts they'll let us borrow"

Even so. I doubt its a "panic". They'll have a list and be working their way down. I imagine given how we've done Liverpool a favour with Fabio and Morton they've been in heavy contact with them.
