Not saying you're wrong but would be interesting to see the comparative wages. I doubt players like Mehlem and Puerta would command 25k plus each like Seri
Not all high earners but these are the ages of those we have let go. I am assuming the *s are high earners Seri(33)* Christie(31)* Tufan(29)* Allsop(32) Sharp(38) Ingram(30) Docherty(27) Traore(29)*
Nothing except his HDM article you mean, you plank https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/jean-michael-seris-hull-city-9496369
Sharp was also on a big whack apparently which I found maddening. Of the early Acun transfers, by my workings we only have Sinik and Estupinan left who'll be on big money. Estupinan will be away and it wouldn't surprise me to see Sinik make his way back to Turkey also. It does feel like a massive reset this summer and a complete change of strategy, which I welcome, signing young, high potential players, accepting that we will have to sell players to navigate FFP going forward.
I agree. I hope the club sees it as a rebuild year. Get some stability and go from there. Allow a year of learning Tim's system and if we get close then make a go of it for sure. There's certainly talent in all these players being brought in but with how late its come about and the relative youth of them all we should be tempering expectations
Not sure why you're getting stick over this, it the first time you've been right in years maybe even ever.
100% definitely, this has to be viewed as a rebuild year and Walter needs to be given time. Especially given the churn of basically changing the entire squad. In fact, I'd wager the first choice XI at the end of the window will probably only have one player we had playing last season!
