He impressed me last pre season, he came back having bulked up and looked a lot fitter. I actually thought he was going to play a big role this season. There's definitely a player there
No one said he develops everyone ffs or else Sharp would have scored ten goals for us. Give it a rest.
Please stop talking nonsense that is so negative against the ex-head coach and our club. It really isn't helping the cause.
We could do a lot worse. Scores all sorts of goals against both the big and the little teams. Would be relatively cheap and probably up for a go in the English leagues, but not so far south as to feel too far from home. We also need some more celtic blood in the team, we’ve done best recently with a higher proportion of Scots and Irish, think Doc and McLoughlin are is the only ones flying the flags.
Obviously in hindsight, the loan was a mistake. But I understood the thinking, give him a year in L1 playing regularly to come back to us and play a big part. The injury scuppered that. He's got a real chance in pre-season and I could still see him playing next year, with the size of the rebuild, one less new player certainly isn't an issue.

Yeah, I would like to see him giving a fair chance in pre-season. Him and Andy Smith in particular. Smith signed a new deal in October so both are under contract until 2026.
Yep, lots of the younger lads should get plenty of minutes unless we sort recruitment early. Completely agree on Mika too, unless Walter changes (seems unlikely as he's stubborn) then just don't think he fits. He's always created as many problems as he solves in midfield too
He’d be better if we dropped the AMC and played a DM. He’s really creative and finds the right passes
Seri really needed a more physical and athletic defensive mid next to him in Rosenior’s 4-2-3-1. The so-called ‘double pivot’ or as the Germans call it - ‘Doppelsechs’. Walter only plays with the one ‘pivot’ though and I don’t think Seri can do it. I know Seri did it for Ivory Coast at AFCON but he had Kessié and Fofana next to him, both very physical midfielders. Walter seems to like a ball-winner at the base of a 4-3-3 midfield with two energetic midfielders who have license to roam around and get forward ahead of the defensive mid. Think we’ll see a midfield similar to this: Tufan/Slater - new defensive mid - Ömür Don’t see how Seri fits into this long-term.
Seri's best days are behind him. If anyone's willing to pay something for him, I think it'd be good business to let him go. Of course that assumes we actually replace him with a younger model.
Are you lot for real. Seri was exceptional when he got back from international duty. If you look at the stats he led the interceptions for our midfielders which is quite something when we have the ‘excellent’ Morton in there. He has been quite easily been our best midfield by a long way. Keep him here.
His defensive stats are woeful for a holding midfielder. Doesn’t help that Slater and Morton are also weak defensively.
Seri is class. On the border of too good for this division but probably a little too small and slow for the divisions above. Would do very well overseas.
