There's new elite player slots which he would qualify for. Coincidentally Celi would as well which makes his loan all the more bizarre but thats another issue
Celi is just not good enough and a bit of a nutter to boot. Not sure we particularly want him back right now. I know about the elite player slots but thought they still needed the clearance to play.
They have to play or the slots reduce. Celi doesn't seem ready from what's been said.
Zambrano should get a work permit anyway, the Copa Sudamericana is ranked highly and he's played in the u20 World Cup too.
It also makes less sense as Palace are ensuring there is a recall clause in the deal, so he may be an absolute world beater until Jan and then they’ll just take him off you on the 1st
