So who's taking the hit on the wages, Chelsea or Sterling?

Possibly both. Some reports are saying that he's taken a wage cut to join Arsenal, others are saying Chelsea are subsiding more than 50% of them during this loan. There's also no loan fee or no obligation/option to buy. Whichever way you look at it, seems like Chelsea are paying the bulk of the finances for Sterling to play for Arsenal.

No loan fee and Chelsea pay over 50% of wages. I have to say that’s a steal for Sterling.

I was against ever signing him because I always thought post Man City he would massively drop off because the motivation wouldn’t be there.

I think he will play a bit part role and if it doesn’t work off he goes, so interested to see what happens.
 
Happy with the sterling deal overalll.

We pay half his wages. No fee and he gives us cover in the forward positions

if it doesn’t work out, we’ve no obligation to pay him or sign him
