Redmond looks like he is done for the forseeable, If Ramos comes in I'm expecting Adams to go out so I'm starting to feel that Garner and another creative wide player ala Jesper Kaarlson would be a better investment of 30m than Ramos.

I can't see Saints selling Adam's. I think he showed Ralph, how important he is.

Big supposition I know but if Adams has had enough we wont be able to keep him regardless. I also don't see us spending big on a striker without at least half of it coming back in thru sales and he's the strongest rumour currently out there.

What I would like to see is we keep him at a cost of zero and add some versatility and creativity to the 10's.

He didn’t look like a player wanting out this weekend

I agree. He looked like a player with a point to make this weekend, just not 100% what that point was. I was really hoping to see the on pitch interaction with Ralph at the end but the my feed cut away before hand. Touch wood, I'm miles up the wrong tree <laugh>

The little Twitter/Instagram video he did after the match is so hat also tells me he wants to stay

Adams wants to stay, Motivated for a pay rise and extension.

DTLW said the other day if wanted to we would invest 30/35 Million on a striker. Don't worry, we do not need to sell to bring in another striker.

Interesting we haven't used our loan spots yet.

They where saying on Total Saints PC that him and Ralph where hugging at the end

That's what I wanted to see. The thing with Che is, he's hard to defend against when he sets his mind and body, its pretty intimidating. That third shot off the post at the end being the perfect example. That's also why he's a perfect foil for an Ings level finisher as well. He gets the ball and can find the teammates. Mara or Armstrong in that partnership should be a good partnership. Fingers crossed.

He's also still quite young really, a couple of years off hitting his peak.

The problem with doing what (in my opinion) has amounted to really excellent business in the transfer market so far, is that it sets an expectation for the rest of the window. Now, a few days without progress or news starts to get really frustrating. When I log in and see the transfer thread is way down the list of threads I know there's no news and my heart sinks.

I mean, players peak (and decline) earlier than they once did. 26 definitely isn't a couple years away from the average player's peak, which is probably more like 24-29 at this point. There's a reason that teams are finding success signing youngsters (and actually playing them).

It just requires patience from us fans. The people in charge of the club really know what they're doing at the end of the day.
