If 20m is what they want then it would seem like we will try and put that towards Delap than Dennis. Granted one has 10 PL goals but that just seems to be our approach

It strikes me as odd that we’d admit he isn’t a priority target. But I assume the agent is asking why a bid hasn’t been made

My guess (based on very little) is that we are doing due diligence on palyers like Dennis, Puki, Weghorst, Cornet to understand what the asking price is for transfer or loan etc just in case we reach deep into the transfer window and need attacking reinforcement badly. My guess would be Wolves and others will do similar - mad not to.

They don't fit at all what we are trying to do and budget seems there to go after priority targets so would be shocked if it came to that.

I know it’s probably not a popular opinion, but I think if we are unable to get a top tier choice (from our targets) at 10 this window, then we wait. The players we have in attacking position are wholly uninspiring (generally) but I’d rather we didn’t panic buy a load of nonsense and make it harder to made additions in that position later. We do have some standards.
