Potentially one of the reasons why we want Delap on a permanent. But the queue for McAtee is very long. Lots of clubs will want to loan him - and there will be no option on this oneCity willing to let McAtee go out on loan

Their front three was Kane, Son and Kulusevski. After signing Richarlison, that front three is now Kane, Son and Kulusevski as far as I can see. Maybe they got their replacement in early. I'm not sure I buy all the chat about how dramatic an impact having five subs will be and thought that signing a strange one. There are rumblings linking Kane to Bayern. I wonder who Spurs would look to for a replacement should that happen? Not that it seems very likely
Richarlison and Kulusevski will share starts. They're of an equal standard I would say.Their front three was Kane, Son and Kulusevski. You don't see Richarlison starting over Kulusevski? I'm not sure I do either. It is too bold for how Conte usually is. Didn't Arsenal want him? Might be why they went for him? But they will get another striker in if Kane goes - whether it is first choice or notTheir front three was Kane, Son and Kulusevski. Smallbone’s contract is up next year. So unless we have or will extend it he will go for nothing next year. An extension was rumoured but hasn’t been announced
Maybe. It's all subjective of course but I don't see Richarlison as being the kind of guy that would be happy unless he was first choice, regardless of whether he deserves that. I think that's really why I thought it a strange move. Conte moved for Kulusevski and Bentancur immediately so clearly rates them both very highly and I must say, I thought Kulusevski was outstanding. I wasn't looking closely enough when I went on earlier. Didn't spot that they had already updated him for Stoke and that 2023 was the Stoke expiryTransfermarkt has June '24.

This will be make or break for Smallbone. If he impresses sufficiently with Stoke he will likely get a new deal with Saints. Otherwise, we will likely try and get a few quid for him whilst he is under contract.Transfermarkt has June '24.

Oh we tried, we just weren't very good at it like Stoke wereI don't recall him being a proper long throw specialist until after he left. Or at least we didn't utilise it.
Hopefully the 2003 versionI think if we get in Delap for 20, I reckon he will be the next James Beattie.
Odd - I went regularly back then and never really picked up on it. And when he was at Stoke I was thinking "why were the throws never that good with us?"Oh we tried, we just weren't very good at it like Stoke were
Thought I read somewhere that a contract extension was agreed as part of the loan deal (if you get my drift)Smallbone’s contract is up next year. So unless we have or will extend it he will go for nothing next year. An extension was rumoured but hasn’t been announced

I read the end date showing on transfermarkt and it was the end of the Stoke loan. That site can move fast. Sometimes too fast as they have Mara with us and he hasn't actually signed yet as far as I am aware

I'm convinced he got better at it after leaving. I never remember toweling the ball for example. But that said - wouldn't have been able to see it from the stands
Found it…Thought I read somewhere that a contract extension was agreed as part of the loan deal (if you get my drift)
