He’s tall (6’1”) good in tight spaces and loves a through ball. Gets into the box for shots too. What I like most from watching clips is that he’s scrappy. It’s something of an intangible (I can’t find the data to back it up) but he looks like he’s got that ability to pick good positions in the midfield to cut out poor opposition passes. I think he’s definitely undervalued because of his contract and we need another CM so it would be a good signing.

Someone mentioned that he could be trained to play as a number 10 like Armstrong! Do you think that is where we will play him, also as of fight now.. is he a 6 8 or a 10

I don’t think he’d play at 10. He’s perfect for that double pivot in the centre. Most footage he’s either making neat pickups in the defensive third before beating a man and passing forward or he’s winning turnovers from pressures higher up. When he gets the ball it’s a shimmy to make space and then a progressive pass. Loads of through balls on the counter too. I think he had about 10 goal involvements from his league games last year which isn’t too shabby so I think he’s best for 8 or 6 at present. One year left on a very low contract (approx 15-20k a week) so he’ll come cheap and there’s obviously big potential to make money on him too. They finished mid table last season and there’s a few clubs bigger than us sniffing around a number of their players this summer.

Sounds good to me, I wonder if we will come away from a Romeu JWP and this guy will displace Romeu.
 
If he needs a loan for a work permit then he comes in for Willy Cab as third choice at the end of next season? He was free IIRC so we’ll see what happens with him next year.

I can find absolutely nothing on him apart from he was first choice in his team last season. Maybe he was really good? I have no idea and don’t know anything about Turkish football.

Is this good? I mean yeah but goalkeepers are weird so who knows.
