Really happy with how the window has gone so far. We’ve recruited aggressively and sensibly. Signing a CB to take us to 3 seniors plus Simeu as 4th is all very good. The City kids coming in can only be good. Think we’re still light an attacking player and obviously we wanted one but we have enough to get by with for the winter and I think it’s the right idea to wait if the right deal isn’t there. It’s only a dozen games or so until we can try again and this league is full of ****ty trash teams that we will beat.
I do worry that we need a CM. If we’re playing three of them in the 4-3-3 then I’d say we needed 5. We have Lavia, JWP, Diallo, AMN. I really wanted Garner but seems that may have sailed. Brownhill would be a reasonably priced option but I’m hoping there’s something surprising in the offing before it shuts tonight.

Redmond is a decent lower PL player with a lot of experience and he’s only 28. He may only have a year left on his contract, but surely he’s worth £5-8m sort of range.
Exactly. I’d be happy to keep him. He is a good professional PL player. Always works hard.
