Not too much talk about outs (Romeu aside). Surely if we get all of these players our squad is going to be huge. We won’t fall foul of registration rules as so many of the players are u21, but there isn’t going to be enough minutes to go round for everyone.

Would think the likes of Redmond, Walcott, Stephens, Valery and Bednarek will all be wondering if they will be getting any playing time

Bednarek off to West Ham by the look of it

I suspect at least Redmond and one of Stephens/Bednarek are very close to leaving.
 
Wonder if we proceed with 4 for the season and potentially keep Simeu back? I’d expect he’d be better off with a loan as well

I guess we have decided that there is no point having back up defenders without pace as it would involve a significant change in playing style

Could very well be, or we rate Nico Lawrence enough to step up later into the season. Heard he’s very good.
 
This window really has seen it all now. Stephens to Bournemouth more or less official and the first one to announce it...
