Just reading about the 'injured 6' and when we might see them again.
Might well influence MMs recruitment in the summer.

Starting with the most emotional, Sol.
36 but wanting to play on to 40.
His health issue need to be the prime focus for him. Great to see him back in training and will be beneficial as a distraction from his treatment but will it see him back as a player. Just happy for him to be involved to help his off field challenges.

Began. Good that Mick went for the long term fix. Like Arnie, he'll be back.

Tricky one with Bennett. A serious injury with no guarentee he'll be the same player. Complicated by him being out of contract. Can a deal be struck to suit both parties and protect the club financially.
Could go either way.

Tomlin. Always had issues with injury and fitness. No doubt we need the creativity he brings. Does it need to be in the 10 role, from deeper, or both.
Still a year on his contract. Might be time for us to cut and run.

Morrison. No need to rush him back with the season slipping away. Get him rested and ready for next year.

Vassel. Where to start? No idea how good he is as we've hardly seen him play.
Could be the proverbial 'new signing'. Could be a white elephant. Think MM needs to hedge his bets and sign another striker.

Sol - needs to be kept at the club in some immediate capacity. He's worth his weight in gold to have around.

Bagan - one for the present as well as the future.

Bennett - showed loyalty when he declined to go to Fulham when they met his buy out clause. Return the same and get some sort of deal over the line.

Tomlin - on song he can be a match winner but maybe he's one for the past not the future.

Morrison - essential that he's retained. Not the speediest but a major lynchpin whose presence we miss when out.

Vassell - completely unkonwn quantity on the pitch but a well known quantity off it. Injury history should make the decision easy.

Well again after last night we so desperately need replacements for Vaulks Pack and Ralls.
As if we didn’t already know that<whistle>

This again but if he’s available and his wages aren’t silly then why wouldn’t we want a player who knows how to notch?

But it’ll be academic if there’s no creativity in midfield to give him the chances.

Unless it’s a tactic MM hasn’t considered yet - the old fashioned 4-4-2 with Moore & Rhodes up top like Clarke and Toshack, Alston & Evans, Gilligan & Bartlett, Bothroyd & Chopra etc

We should go all out to get him, put Watters, Harris, Colwiil and Sang all out on loan to get experience, and bring in Charlie Adam to add pace in midfield.

With Sheffield wed going down this season I don't think putting in a offer for Reach and bannan would be a bad thing todo.and we could if we move fast could get them on the cheap as Wednesday I would think would be looking to offload players on high wages.

At 31 think Lambert and Bobby Fowlup. Me thinks thou taketh the pi$$.

Joking aside I recall Bob Hatton, old and allegedly past it but he sparked a promotion success.
A striker who has a nose for goal is not a bad player to have on the pitch or bench.
He is not long term but we have to have a change/alternative from the lump it up to Kieffer.
