Welcome to Charlton, young man. I do wonder who from Charlton has scouted him though. Not wanting to pour cold water on our latest signing, but our record of signing players we haven't seen is not good.
It seems like it has come out of nowhere. I don’t know the yoof team, so I’m not sure how he fits in.
it does follow the idea that we are looking for younger players.
I’d be interested to hear Adkins thoughts on it.
@Shabby of Toad Hall (I think) made an excellent point on ittv about the larger number of free agents this year. Some of those are going to shop around and wait until they get the right offer. As we will be in that market, against a stronger field in League One, we may have to be patient with our summer business.
I have a feeling Aneke won't be staying with us next season if there is championship interest in him
For him to move to the championship his fitness problem must be fixable otherwise there’d be no interest- we should keep hold of him if that’s the case
I'd like to keep him but him being out of contract I don't see him staying if a championship club offer him one
Pretty certain I saw the lad Ryan Viggars on trial for the U23 games against Birmingham and Wigan. I don't remember him beig outstandinly good or bad, but I was just focussing on us getting the ball in the net. Someone apparently thought he did well enough.
It's Adkins' call of course.
I'd be disappointed to see Williams return though.
He didn't do it last season and I'm not convinced that was completely down to Lee Bowyer getting on his case.
We shouldn't be tinkering around with last season's stuttering squad.

As much as I love Williams I wouldn't have him back either, we should be looking for better. George Moncur is a free transfer if we could get him that'd be a good signing
