He owns the ground and the training ground. Thomas Sandgaard has a 15-year lease.

Hope The Pig does well. I always said he was a natural goalscorer, having seen him in the U-18's and stiffs numerous times. To come back from the Millwall experience shows character.

We can't agree terms with Shane Ferguson, this is the second time we have made a bid for him. Deal looks dead in the water.

it'd be a free transfer? he looks like he's been released from millwall.

something really off here.... TS has barely spent any money; and the wage budget looks like its gone down from last year

Yep, I'm getting quite concerned now.

So far, this is not the summer transfer window I was expecting. Very little money has been spent and I can't see how we have improved the squad we had last year and that squad itself was nowhere near good enough for automatic promotion.

Rightly or wrongly, I'm afraid it is the case that unless you are prepared to spend money, then you will not get success on the pitch.

Come on TS, even Roland managed to get us promoted out of this division.

I'll wait until the signings are completed, and see what they're like before passing judgment, but I don't believe TS is one of the world's super-rich. He's already spent quite a lot saving the club from at best administration, at worst liquidation, and I won't criticise him for not spending more. He may however have to revise his expectations of a quick promotion if he wants success through the Academy, a philosophy I support 100%.

I think TS hopes to get us into the Premiership, and buy the land then.
ATM we don't have enough depth in the squad for when injuries and suspensions kick in, but we live in hope. It's the hope that kills you.

I think he may find that the Belgian scrote somewhat raises the price at that point

He’s 75 now and by the time we get back to the prem I doubt I’ll be here let alone that old scrote

With the Premier League starting the week after us , can anyone remember when they put their squads down in stone , so you get to see who’s available for a loan move?

I just tried to look it up on Goggle, but just got a swathe of generalised crap about the 2021-22 Prem season.
Could not find the date that squads will be confirmed.

Last season it was not until the middle of October :emoticon-0104-surpr
But I don't know if that had something to do with disruption because of the pandemic.

The best result CAFC wise of late was me ordering 3 clothing items from the store online and getting delivered to Sydney within two week, bonza !

Inclusive of a 20-21 home shirt for 12.50 quid.
