Jay, got to disagree with you. Of course Manga made some errors. He was playing against some of the best players in the world in a mainly Championship level team. Don't just look at 3 or 4 errors, look at the number of crucial tackles and interceptions he made. He is a pure defender.

Will be a big loss but Flint could help fill the gap and be a huge threat for us at set pieces.

Masky, Manga only has 12 months left on his contract. Would go for free next year. £3m now is good business.

Time will tell on Flint's true worth.

Masky is well aware that he had a year left BFB pal...Masky is well read and indeed well blessed! I was suggesting that we forfeit the 3m for a good season, perhaps a promotion season! It’s a gamble, just look st Sparkey, multi millionaire now through his gambling habit it seems! Told him to gamble responsibly, but he ignored Masky and now look st him! Just saying! :emoticon-0103-cool:

Sparkey might have profited from gambling enterprises but every story has a downside.

BT places bets at the stadium before every home game. You always see the bookies' box rocking with laughter as BT approaches while the bookie is on his phone arranging his next holiday.

BT is a gambling addict.

Don't be like BT!!!

He's going to have a great holiday off me
19 games @ £2 a game is £38. I did get back £30 for one bet last year so £8 down on the season.
I save more than that by sitting in the cheap seats :emoticon-0100-smile
 
Just read that Flint is 30 - lot of money for somebody that age. Would perhaps have preferred to spend it on someone a bit younger who could develop as a player but oh well.

Best of luck to Manga and Zohore as well - good players for the club but feel taking the money makes sense in both transfers! That 15 million for Zohore two years ago looks like a good deal now as well! <laugh>

I think we will get more value from Flint than we have from Madine. <doh>

Not that I have anything against the lanky streak of useless pi$$ we paid £6m for for 2 seasons ago. <doh>
