Only 22 days to the first game and as it stands we are no nearer knowing who will be our first team and so have to assume it based on the current squad.

The back 5 seem nailed on given interest in Ethridge and Mangs has waned.

Plenty of choice in wide midfield. Central midfield appears to be Ralls and Vaulks with Bacuna and Damour as back up.

Where to play the enigmatic Paterson and Reid (and Tomlin?)

Up top it’s the same choice as last season with Madine replacing Niasse.

It’s not a bad squad, certainly they know each other really well but lacking IMO a driving influence in central midfield in the Kavanagh mould and a consistent goal scorer at no 9.

A few more additions plus some departures and it’ll be a comfortable top 8 team.

Another one from WoL. Left sided midfielder come left back Younousse Sankaré from Bordeaux. Value about £4.5m with 2 seasons to go on contract. Played 60 odd games in last 3 seasons scoring 12 goals.

Forest and Sheff Utd also interested. Report also says Swans having a look but no money available and they have other priorities.

Is it think of some names, throw a dart, see where it lands and report our interest season?

I agree with good luck to him but not a very savvy player who doesn't have the greatest ball control.

NML, Hoilett and Murphy are all better players and it appears Warnock wants to bring in another wide player.
