He have us a lot more variety up front but we have enough strikers who don't score without adding another, much more expensive one.

I agree but I’d be really disillusioned if he was signed. Just cannot see it happening and hope it doesn’t.

We could get 2 or 3 really decent Championship players for what he'd cost in transfer fees and wages.

Stll think we need to splash some reasonable cash on a "headline" player to either lead the line up front, or boss the midfield (or preferably both).

Plus his salary which will be another million or two.
Lots of eggs and less than two baskets spring to mind.
I'm sure he'd improve the team, but its a lot for someone who walks away at the end of the season. But there again, if he's the difference between going up and not......:emoticon-0138-think

Didn't I read they wanted him playing a prem club?

Also, after Colins rant after the Grujic saga……:emoticon-0183-swear….. would Klopp deal with us?

We could always buy him - Liverpool have quoted a £25M asking price......<whistle>
