Will be some sort of miracle if he doesn't go in January.
Should be 20 mill minimum, probably even more.

Would that be the same miracle we've said the last few windows.... Got to be a reason teams haven't come in yet? The scout from another champ team I was at the game with today made an interesting comment ( which I don't agree with ) he said " a lot of scouts see him a little like Jordan Rhodes, to good for the champ but doesn't have that little extra that's needed for the prem"

Thought it was an interesting comment

Probably true in terms of being a 'top' PL player, but I'd say he's now grown into a player plenty good enough for mid to lower prem teams, and, sorry to say, for teams in the CCC who would see it as an investment to get them into the PL (I would hate to see it, but he would likely turn Leeds into a nailed on auto promotion side).

He’s much better than some of the players that have recently moved from the Championship to the PL.

He’s also consistently delivered over the last 3 seasons. He’s not a flash in the pan. He’s proven and for me his valuation keeps going up.

He's young, English and proven at this level. He can play a lot games without getting injured. He's a model professional, ambitious goalscoring winger/striker/right midfield.

You're spot on GLP. What's
not to like?

25m plus if we play cards right. Why not? We've all seen the market.

He's coming up here to service the inevitable over-expectations of The Mags, according to the local knaa-nowts I have to endure.

We've a couple of spare rooms now the bairns have moved out if he wants digs.

He won't be here long anyways, because it'll all end in tears, as it inevitably does around here.

That should be the starting price. Look at a couple of players who have moved for circa £20m that aren’t a patch on Bowen.

I have seen worse players that Bowen go into the premier and do well. He is getting a much more powerful player as he matures and is worth 15 to 20 million. He will get better and is a good level headed lad with a great attitude. I wish him all the best if it happens. I don’t see the money being invested back into the team, if anything it might reduce the selling price and help with the sale. He really is the last of the big money available in cash terms and the family will cash in. Henrikson and Milinkovic will be gone and some wages freed up. Another canny striker on loan and that will be that.
