There’s still time for a late twist but as things stand [HASHTAG]#hcafc[/HASHTAG] do not expect to lose Jarrod Bowen or Kamil Grosicki before Thursday’s deadline
I've got to ask the question 'Why not?'
Has any other teams shown any interest in either of them? (I mean, beyond media speculation).
Are they wanting to stay?
Are either of them good enough to succeed at a higher level?
Is it a sign that the club is actually showing some ambition?
Answers on a postcard please.
Probably the Allams have a whiff of Premier league cash?Is it a sign that the club is actually showing some ambitio

Hence the ambition.Yes, but you have to get there to receive it.

Totally agree with you and OLM. I think you may find that the replacements are already here. Any deals will be done at the last minute with no chance of signing anyone else. As I say we need four more players anyway but as for ambition being shown. That ship has sailed. As OLM says, what ambition? Any offers for Bowen and Grosicki and they will be shipped out and replaced, if indeed they were replaced, by cheap lower league players.

I was replying to Ernie speculating about there maybe some ambition by not selling Grosicki and Bowen. What ambition?
We've had almost £11m in so far and have spent about £500k.

Some of us are probably wondering if not selling Grosicki and Bowen, along with appointing McCann and paying compo to get him, might be significant?I think we know the Allams too well for it to be ambition. They'll say it is (ambition), but in reality it's more to do with a lack of interest.

I thought Newcastle were quoted £20 million for Bowen?
Didn't they actually make an offer?
