Considering where we are as a club at the moment, the signing so far has been encouraging. Though looks as if we might be playing 5 centre backs, as we seem to be buying up all the reasonable ones, so others can't have them.

To be fair, £20m is what we should be asking, if not more. Football is crazy and transfer fees are ridiculous, but whilst they are, we need to be playing the same game as everyone else.

A few championship players have gone for similar money over the last few seasons and Bowen is right up there with them.

Saying that, I do think this is just the beginning of his inevitable transfer. Someone will negotiate that 20m, probably with add-ons etc and we'll get around £16m for him.

Dunno mate, but for once I’d like to see the Allam’s hold out for a players actual value, and I’d say £20M sounds about right for Jarrod.
