Metro is running the Bowen story too. The Allams will be licking their lips when they get the money for him and Maguires sell on

I don’t get it. Why would we let him go for £3m less just because it’s Arsenal? Surely as a recognised ‘big club’ we’d be demanding more? Also, he isn’t worth £12m-£15m, he’s worth at least £20m. I suspect they’ll try and low ball us given our owners propensity for **** valuations.
Allams will refuse 12 million and settle for 10, no one tells them how to........

Surely its McCann just making the right noises.

I wonder what was actually discussed with the Allams about this , maybe he got a generic 'we want to keep our best players'.
Realistically he must have known the chances were Bowen would be sold though.

Leeds are close to completing a loan deal for Wolves forward Helder Costa.
Talking to a TWS fan yesterday and he reckons Bowen wouldn't get in the L**ds team. ****ing delusional. He's also talking like they're cast Iron promotion certainties.

Not like a L**ds fan to be so full of ****, is it.

Oh and he also said we're going down this season.

I couldn't really argue with that :emoticon-0101-sadsm

The Sun article...

ARSENAL are preparing a £12million swoop for Hull striker Jarrod Bowen.

The 22-year-old has been watched by the Gunners since January.

And the North Londoners have been impressed by his performances that saw him net 22 times for the Tigers last season.

Their rivals Tottenham also kept tabs on Bowen but Arsenal are set to make an official bid.

The Gunners have been trying to lure 26-year-old Wilfried Zaha to the Emirates from Crystal Palace but are baulking at the £80million price-tag.

Bowen, four years younger, is seen as a good value option.

Hull value their prized asset at £15m but will be tempted to let him go for £3m less if the Gunners come knocking.
They’ve overshot the £10m mark there...amateurs (although they’ll probably haggle it down when it’s clear he wants to go there)

If they offer all cash up front, he might well accept a lower offer, particularly if there's any chance of a sale.

I'm sure a sale agreement could cover any eventuality post sale.

That said i'm sure the Allams will trouser any proceeds, but if the sale of Bowen and a sell on from Harry brings the club sales price down to c£30m, thats got be a move in the right direction

BBC Sport @BBCSport
Manchester United have made a £70m bid for Leicester defender Harry Maguire.

Ker-ching
Top wants £100M according to the local media

Even then Maguire needs to ask to go. From the sounds if it Maguire is happy whatever He wants to stay but not against going either

You will get somewhere between £10-20M if he does go. I suspect he will stay though

£100 million for Maguire ? That's absolute madness , he's basically a decent Premier League player
He is english, we dont want or need to sell, he is happy and recently signed a new 5 year contract

Its a sellers market. IMO he is worth about £40M if we was being sensible but if we dont want to sell its upto someone to make an offer that is too good to refuse

Maguire is a very good defender not world class and if Man U think AWB and Maguire sort that defence out then they are seriously mistaken

This is probably **** but hey ho it’s transfer news of a sort ...Spanish u21
