And are desperately trying to find a way to release Chris Martin.

Middlesbrough have become the second Championship club to be linked with a move to sign Hull City winger Kamil Grosicki.

The 30-year-old, who last month, was linked with both Nottingham Forest and Turkish side Istanbul Basaksehir, has reportedly become of interest to the Boro, according to the Daily Star.

A bit odd as they don't have a manager yet.

If we played 4-4-2 with Martin and Dicko - that would potentially work. When Grosicki/Bowen/Campbell have all left - what percentage of goals did those 3 players alone score for us? We won’t replace them with anything remotely like the same quality. I’d take Martin - at least he has scored at this level and needs a system to suit him. The alternatives for £0 are no better. Which is precisely our transfer budget.

So if the Allams are looking for 2-3 mill, then they won’t be in for him!
