That bit really worries me.Jose seems to want a CB though and Toby (and Maguire) are better than what you currently have. Jose also never really seems to buy for the long haul, he generally buys for immediate impact and Toby would definitely do that. Lindelof and Bailly may come good in time but the fact Jones and Smalling have seemingly been the preferred partnership doesn’t really bode well for the other two in terms of immediate futures.
Ideal scenario for Spurs would be to involve a swap deal with Martial but I can’t see that happening, unless Jose becomes really desperate for a CB.
Jones and Smalling have never been Jose's preferred partnership, that said we have never had a pair fit long enough to form a partnership under Jose.
At the moment I would say his preferred pairing is Bailly and Rojo but both seem made of glass.
I would like to see Bailly and Jones paired together for a decent number of games (again both made of glass).
Lindeloff has made massive steps in his last few games (weeks apart) and I hope he will show his best this season,

). Surely they’ve forgotten to put a point in between the 6 and 2? Arguably before the 6 actually.
