Burnley seem to have taken a bit of a pop at Gray in their statement...

"Burnley Football Club can confirm the sale of striker Andre Gray to Watford for an undisclosed fee that ranks as one of the biggest in the club’s history. The Clarets gave Gray the chance to extend his stay at Turf Moor with the offer of a substantially improved new contract earlier this summer. However, the former England C international made it clear he would not be looking to renew a deal which had just 12 months still to run. Burnley therefore took the decision to accept an offer from Watford and move forward with their own plans going into the new Premier League season. Gray, 26, joined Burnley from Brentford in August, 2015 and finished as top scorer in his first season to help Sean Dyche’s side win the Championship title and seal an instant return to the top tier. The former Luton Town forward followed up his 23 goals in 2015/16 with 10 last season, including nine in the Premier League and a first top-flight hat-trick for the Clarets since 1975 when he scored three times in a New Year’s Eve win over Sunderland. Burnley Football Club thanks Andre for his contribution during his time at Turf Moor and wishes him well in the future."

I thought it was this bit that would rankle with him more. Dark place Luton.

Don't blame him. **** hole of a place and **** football. We'll kick it forward and you chase after it for 80 minutes then when you're tired we'll sub you. Who would want to play that style of football!

That Jordan Amaavi from Villa who they are selling to Marseille didn't they reject like 30 million or something from China?

2 years? That seems excessive for somebody apparently on the fringes of the Chelsea first team. Presumably there'll be a recall option.
It really doesn't make much sense as it all hinges on Boro getting promoted. If he has a good year, they'll be looking at promoting him to the first team or a Prem loan next year.

Very strange.

Not sure how far Barca are willing to go. I've seen £120m been thrown about.

Think Barca have been caught out massively with the neymar transfer, don't think they ever expected anyone to go to 200m, and now psg have, everyone knows how much they've got to spend, so
Dortmund with dembele, Liverpool with coutinho and Monaco with mbappe can hold out for something ridiculous

Dybala has been given the Juventus number 10 shirt so that's another one they won't be getting.

Good.
