Whats so annoying is the claims made by our owner and manager of us aiming for promotion. Ehab's words were top 2 or top 6 at least? With what team do you expect us to mount a challenge with? Seriously? It's laughable.
The 3 teams that went down got pretty much the same money, add to that the sale of Maguire for us and the fact we've got the smallest squad and we should be THE most active team in the Championship right now.
I know there's a few weeks left till Villa away but didnt Ehab say in his interview that we want business done early? and that last seasons ****ty summer window was due to the fact the club was under a transfer embargo? Whats the excuse this time?
When Silva came in early Jan, we started signing players right away. We brought in 6 or 7 players and bid for a hell of a lot more. There was news left right and center proving we were active and serious about strengthening the squad. Compare that to now there's no news of us bidding for players. We have 1 senior CB in our squad where we need at least 4... ?????? The mind boggles...

Sunderland are buying up Everton cast offs for a couple of hundred thousand pounds, I'm not sure we can really look too enviously at them.
As would I, was just suggesting it's not like they're splashing cash either.
