I'm just reading the FFP rules, someone will be far more savvy than me at interpreting them, but have Wolves exceeded the demands of point 3 with the signing last year of Helder Costa, another Portuguese guy last week and now this player... Is FFP direct related to revenue generation in which case the £5 million they will be receiving from the EFL, ticket sales and promotional wear can hardly be covering any costs..?
 
Surprised Neves would go to the Championship. He's been monitored for a few years by some of the big clubs.

Massive signing for Wolves if it comes off, they definitely mean business this season. Fair play to their owners.

Isn't it only tested every 3 years though? Which is why Derby splashed for 2 years and are now trimming the fat from the squad. Same reason Villa are going small this time.

Not being pedantic at all, never mind 'really pedantic', the source you quoted said this summer and that could be the end of August. I was merely pointing out that this hardly constitutes 'about to'.

But if you want to get all childish about it...
