well clearly i am very much in the minority but i think its a decent move for the lad.

he'll be playing week in, week out, somewhere he can try and build on last season, a season where he showed flashes of brilliance but was often too casual. would have been stupid going to a bigger club (not that any of them wanted him) because he needs games. i think he needs to kick on - first season in the top flight can often be tricky and i think he'll perform better at loftus road than we saw for us. he'd have been totally wasting his talent in the championship. we've got good money for him that we can reinvest straight into our squad (looks like its already happening) while leroy can stay in the premier league.

i really find this crap between norwich and r's fans very juvenile and pathetic to be honest. i think rangers have made some astute signings this summer and i think they'll stay up - and fer will hopefully play well and earn a move to a big club and give us a slice of that tasty 20% sell on clause.

Well said! Bit of class there <ok>

The guy who is lecturing people about being classy is throwing around the c-bomb now thats a tad hypocritical. What a shame, you've just given the chance to explain your managers tax evading antics, the truth must obviously hurt too much.

Call a spade a spade mate, was no other word for that really!!
PS I think you'll find the verdict was not guilty, & Harry is a lovely fella, everyone who knows him says so! ;)

Does anyone else think we might see Grabban wide right, Lafferty left and Jerome down the middle at Ipswich? As I said on another thread, I think Redmonds stick is a touch unfair but he will have noticed it and maybe Adams will give him an impact role? Think the front 3 iv mentioned would be a proper handful for any team!!! Excited!!!

Would be great if Jerome could "do a Leon" on Saturday :D

Post on another board that Scott Sinclair was sighted at the Norwich Hotel with Cuellar. Only a rumour at this stage, but great if it turns out to be true.

Another young English player who has gone to a big club, like Man City or Chelsea (who more or less did the same thing with Sturridge), and their career has more or less come to a stand-still.

Still a very good player though, played well in their American pre-season tour, so as Supers says there will be plenty of Premier League clubs interested.

P.S - K I O - Any chance of a derby day thread? Already buzzing for Saturday :) Cheers buh.

I agree with you that it is a good move for Leroy, an excellent move in fact and one that should be perfect for him. I personally don't have a massive with Koo Pee Arr, in fact growing up they were always my 'favourite' London side as I liked their kit and had a reputation for playing nice football. My problem is more with Redknapp who I absolutely cannot stand, and if I'm being perfectly honest I'm not a huge fan of Fernandes and the way he has gone about his business in the past few seasons either. I also agree that they've made some good, sensible signings this summer though and should be ok despite losing their first game.

I don't think we'll miss him that much to be honest, as I said the other day despite his obvious class and potential he's never been a fixture in the side, has had injury niggles and hasn't ever really put in an outstanding match-winning performance. Of course he's still young and I would have loved to have seen him develop here a bit longer, but it was never going to happen once we dropped down so I wish him all the best and hope he goes on to do great things in the game <ok>
