I still think the attitude of the player plays a massive part in this. If Hooper wants out he can engineer it. Part of our success getting out of the lower leagues last time was team spirit and togetherness with the sum of our parts being greater than the individuals. Last thing Neeyul needs is a handful of players who don't want to be there. What I'm hoping is that players like Hooper are up for it and planning on ripping the Championship a new one. If I were one of the squad I'd be looking forward to a season of actually going for it... I don't mean that to sound disrespectful to the other teams. The difference is, Norwich now have a simple and much more meaningful objective (WIN) compared to the goals of the past three years where the general objective had been to nick the odd win, draw plenty and simply survive.

As was said above, it depends on whether players want to go. The new management team might make a difference and it will be a test of Adams how many he can convince to stay. He's made a good start by convincing Grabban to come.

Most humans will work for the highest pay. I wouldn't call it mercenary. Particular in a career that only spans 15 years(ish). Can't blame him either. 12 months ago there was talk of him breaking into the England set up. And then he joined Norwich.

I've always found this to be a bit of a misnomer. A career as a football player may only last about 15 years, but when they retire they are still able to work. It is not as if they have their arms and legs amputated when they hang up their boots. A career as a footballer may only last 15-20 years, but after that there are plenty of well paid positions available, pundit, coach, manager, etc. If they are unable to land one of those jobs, and they haven't invested the £4million or so (based on just £5k p.w over 15 years) wisely, I am sure they would be qualified to get a job as a shelf stacker at any well known supermarket, just like many others have to to survive.

Seems like Greg Dyke doesn't realise that Norwich City already have a 'B' team <laugh>

Joking aside, I can't really see that one happening

That looks like a case of a vaguely plausible headline leading to desperate scratching around for material for an article.

And Ross did have a great relationship with BMD, but he's also already as good as tweeted in support of our likely incoming head coach.

If we are looking at McCormack or Rhodes then the money will have to come from a sale and so logically RvW must be on his way out (hopefully) and possibly Hooper? Looks to be a fundamental change tot he strike force thoguh whichever way you look at it. As for Hoolahan, to me his best days are gone and his reactions and outbursts last year were unforgivable. Take the money wherever it comer from.

I'd quite like to see RvW and/or Hooper stay, as I feel with better service and being in the Championship, they could show what they're calls capable of. Hoolahan can definitely go and would be happy if we got £1M for him.

A player I'd quite like to see here is Tom Carroll. He plays that deeper lying play maker role that we've missed recently with Fox not getting a chance. He's spent a fair few years getting close to the Tottenham team but I don't think he's quite Prem Level. I think he'd be worth a bid!
