Right, with the season over it's time for our entire squad to be linked to half a dozen clubs, and for every mediocre striker in europe to be linked to us. It's going to be interesting to follow, but no so interesting that we want our entire board swamped in a new thread for each rumour, so as usual let's try and keep them all in one place.

Rumoured Departures:

Ruddy -> Palace (£5m)
Snodgrass -> Celtic, Newcastle or West Ham (£3m)
Olsson -> West Ham (£750k)

Rumoured Arrivals:

Chris Basham (Blackpool, £1m)
Adam Clayton (Huddersfield, £1m)
Molla Wague (Caen, Free transfer)
Matt Grimes (Exeter)

Obviously post anything you find, and I'll try and keep this post updated when I can.

Already there! <laugh>

Well, he's a reasonable age, and was an ever present for Blackpool last season, so not having seen him play it doesn't seem like a bad signing. Seems to be very versatile, playing as a CM, CB, RB, RM and DM for Blackpool so could be a handy utility player, but £1m seems steep for him when I can't see where he'd regularly feature.

As a CB I can't see him being ahead of Bennett, Martin or Turner in the pecking order. As a CM he doesn't appear to contribute a lot going forwards, so unlikely to be ahead of Tettey or Johnson.

I don't follow the U21's too closely, but hopefully we can keep hold of any genuine talent we've got. Would be nice to see a few more out on loan next season, and perhaps beginning to integrate into the squad for cup games.

Newsnow website states that Bassong is rumoured to be wanted by Aston Villa and Snodgrass wanted by West Ham. Also, Hooper back to Celtic. Seems to indicate what many fans expect - that these players will leave. Hope to see rumours involving Fer and £5m to surface in the near future.

Not worthy of a new thread, and I'm not even sure if it's new, but apparently we've agreed a contract with a York-based company to run our website. I remember McNally saying in a pre-season Q&A that the quality of the website was something that they were aware needed improving, so at least relegation doesn't appear to be preventing the club progressing off the pitch.

As an aside, that must be one of the most poorly worded pieces of "journalism" I've read in a while.

A much needed change as our website is abysmal, having had a look at the others this company runs though I think they're more focused on the online sales than the site design as supposedly they have a similar agreement with West Brom and their website is the same as ours.

Being linked to Adam Clayton from Huddersfield. Out of contract.

Daily Fail and Transfermarkt reckon he's got 12 months to go, but other reports have him as out of contract. Brighton apparently had a £1m bid turned down in January. Just read some articles saying he plays with a lot of passion, which we could do with, although that alone obviously isn't enough! Raw stats are 7 goals and 6 assists from 42 games as an attacking midfielder, which isn't too far short of Wessi's 10 goals and 7 assists in our promotion season.

how on earth can we be linked with anyone before we have a manager sorted what a load of tosh

anything to waste ink and paper and a printers time!

I fully expect it's rubbish, but the lack of a manager hasn't stopped United putting bids in it seems, and Hughton was keen to bring in an attacking midfielder in January, so that priority will have been identified months ago.
