If Ronald does indeed take over we have already been linked with Graziano Pelle to sign ...anybody know anything about him?
Can't say I take much notice of the Dutch league ....

terrible scoring record until the last couple of years

6'4"

Maybe Koeman can get Gallagher properly started instead

He also oversaw Ibrahimovic's early years.

I know it's eredivisie, but that Pellé guy doesn't look bad at all actually. Picks out some long passes like Rickie did, shoots from the edge of the area. Dominant in the air. Takes the piss on penalties. reminds me a bit of Lambert of a few years ago.

Koeman could do worse than bring that guy with him.

(it wouldn't hurt for gallagher to have a role model at the club either)

Then all we need to do is sprinkle some saints magic academy dust on him :)

I'd be interested in Wilfred Bony. Swansea might be after £19m, but I think he's worth at least £15m with his scoring record (25 goals last year). I don't think we'd do any better as Lukaku is out of our reach and Ings is unproven at this level, albeit I think Saints should go for him if they can get a £8m deal done.

In the grand scheme of things £19m for a player who scores 25 goals is good value. Especially as he played for a team that only finished 12th in the Premiership. I am not saying we will be able to afford Bony but I think he would be worth every penny for whichever team buys him (would love it to be us).

They want 20m already.

20m for a 25 year old striker with a prolific record in the PL is pretty damned reasonable, all things considered. For less would be nice, obviously, but I wouldn't say no to spending that money.

I guess this qualifies as a dumb question... but... how come transfers like SRL are happening now when the window isn't open til July?

Interested in what you have to say. D!ckish move by hime, I hope the deal falls through and he has to make it up to your fans.

Ok fair enough. Personally, I think if he wants to go he should hand in a transfer request and stop ****ing around.

I'm glad you see it that way too. It really takes the piss that he signed a five-year deal last summer, and one year into it after our best ever league finish he's trying to force a move. And he's captain. With the Bournemouth clause I really can't see us reaching an agreement that suits both parties to be honest.
