I can't remember him doing anything special, he got called quite a lot that's about as much as I can tell you. Japan looked decent in attack but only really penetetrated for a 20 minute period in the 2nd half in between that most balls through the centre were mopped up by a packed Australian defense.

It's quite possible he had a very good game as I wasn't really taking much notice of japanese players except for the ones I knew already: kagawa, yoshida and honda. Yoshida's partner was quite good I thought but don't know who he is.
 
A player signed for SFC today.

It is apparently due to be announced next week, expected early on in the week upon the completion of paperwork.
 
I think it may be someone a bit out of left field. Maybe Astori though? When does the Confederations Cup start?

Or perhaps Nainggolan really did sign whilst in England...

Just what I was emailed by the person I spoke to last summer when it came to transfers (Yoshida, Gaston etc). It came through whilst I was in exams though so I didn't find it until the afternoon.

I asked if there can be a clue about position, but I've not had any reply.

How could someone know someone has signed but who? Or are they just not allowed to say? Reckon its to do with Cortese being out in Italy?

When I asked, they said they couldn't divulge a name. I thought Cortese was in England now, but maybe that's wrong.

honda's contract runs out in february so his pricetag would probably be significanty lower than expected

I watched the game and i hardly noticed him at all.
